This 6-day Tanzania safari combines unforgettable wildlife experiences with authentic cultural encounters. The journey takes you from Lake Manyara to the world-famous Serengeti, followed by the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater and the culturally rich Lake Eyasi.
Explore diverse landscapes, enjoy exciting game drives and look out for elephants, lions, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos and other African wildlife. You will also have the opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyles of the Hadzabe and Datoga communities around Lake Eyasi.

- Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara national park:
In the morning after delicious breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara with your picnic lunch box for the stunning game drive. Lake Manyara is a lovely scenic park on the road from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater, famous for its tree climbing lions, good elephants and baboons. The lake itself takes up much of the park, leaving a strip of land running along its shores where game concentrates. The park is also famous for its elephant and huge number of baboons, and its varied landscape supports an impressive range of other game including wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, zebra, warthog, waterbuck, dik-dik and impala.
Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti national park:
This day we will be luck to drive heading to UNESCO world heritage site the Serengeti. We will depart early in the morning after breakfast at Olivers camp, the take a drive of about 205kms barely 4-5 hours to reach Seronera. The Serengeti is Africa’s most famous park. Renowned for its incredible concentrations of predators and the Great Serengeti Migration of two million wildebeest, the Serengeti guarantees an exceptional safari. The endless grassy plains (Serengeti in Maasai) are the richest grazing grounds on the continent, and therefore home to the largest herds and the highest concentrations of predators on the planet.
As the golden light of dawn spreads across the plains, your family will enjoy watching herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests as they move through the park. Keep your eyes open for lions lounging under acacia trees and colorful bird species that make Tarangire a true paradise for wildlife lovers.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while listening to the sounds of nature, before continuing your afternoon drive through different landscapes — from river valleys to open woodlands. Return to your lodge in the evening to relax and share stories from your exciting day on safari.
Day 3: Full day game drive at Seronera Serengeti:
Proceed enjoy full day game drive at Seronera central grass plain of Serengeti. The area has phenomenal concentrations of game and sees the migration herds move north from mid-April to late June and back south again in November and December. The only downside to this area is the number of large hotels and consequent volume of traffic on safari. We often use camps on the periphery of the area, giving guests the option of going into the busier area if they choose.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater:
Rise up early in the morning, depart for another fantastic game drive inside Ngorongoro crater the home of Africa big 5, namely, African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Rhino, Lion and Leopard. We will cover about 145kms barely 2 hours and half to reach the area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the best place in Tanzania to see ‘The Big Five’. A healthy population of black rhino and some of the largest tusker elephants left in Africa today are the prize spots, but the crater is also home to good populations of lion, leopard and hyena along with healthy herds of wildebeest, buffalo and zebra. Other wildlife here includes serval cat, cheetah, jackal, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, flamingo and bat-eared foxes, as well as approximately 400 species of bird.
Day 5: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi cultural tour:
In the morning after enjoy hot and delicious breakfast which is followed by game en route to Lake Eyasi, where you will come across Mangola Onion plantation, and wheat plantation with your picnic lunch boxes. In the evening you will have a light walking towards Bushman land and you will enjoy seeing the tradition iron smith and watching careful hunting of Bushmen.
Day 6: Lake Eyasi cultural tour to Arusha:
Early morning after delicious breakfast at Lake Eyasi safari lodge, then proceed with a light walk to this site of Bushman land to meet with fascinating tribes like Hadzabe and Datonga tribe for watching their use of traditional methods of survival. Then drive back to Arusha for lunch at a restaurant and led for departure time.
